This module has two main functions:

1-Creation of document previews:

It enables you to prepare a preview file in image format (TIFF or Djvu) for all electronic documents saved in PaperWork. Thus, in order to see what an archived document is, you do not have to have that application installed in your own computer. For example, let us think that an AutoCAD drawing is archived. Without AUTOCAD installed in their computers, other users who would like to see this drawing can see this drawing over PaperWork© viewer. Similarly, while making a search over a large document, it is possible to find that document by tracing through this preview. Without opening whole document, related page can be found by previewer.

2 - OCR, full text search:

You can make a full text search on word base among all electronic documents (e.g. MS Office documents), and other documents in image (scanned) format. Preview server works along with our OCR server. Documents previews of which are prepared are passed through OCR (character recognition) process. In this way, previews of approximately 300 hundred documents can be prepared, and Full Text Search can be made over these electronic documents. OCR server creates writing data by processing scanned documents. Thus, Full Text Search can be made over these scanned documents in image format.
