Sabancı Holding represents all companies connected to Sabancı community that is one of the biggest industrial and financial communities in Turkey
Sabancı community consists of 68 firms almost all of which are leaders in the sectors they are activating. Basic interest fields of Sabancı community are financial services, food, retail selling, tire, support materials, automotive, cement, energy, chemicals, export, and textile.
As Shares of Sabancı Holding are quoted to IMKB, Holding has participation in 12 companies transacting in IMKB.

Hardships and Opportunities

In addition to coordination of functions of finance, planning, job development, risk management, and human resources, since community is a center responsible for defining vision and strategies, creating synergy in community, increasing value provided to the shareholders, different types of contents are formed in Holding. At the point of sharing and reuse of these contents, one of the most important issues was to overcome hardships on security and reaching of documents for Holding Administration.

Sabancı Holding has decided on EMC Documentum Unified Enterprise Content Management, at the end of analysis and sample designs by G&G Soft, job partner of EMC, after an evaluation among many competitors in scope of organizational content management needs.

Single Information Pool

All correspondence in Holding will be gathered with fundamental content management, visuals and archive management of all documents in electronic media belonging to organization communication department with EMC Documentum Digital Asset Management content management under one information pool, EMC Documentum Enterprise Content Management platform.

Thanks to this information pool, in whole Holding, more productive working conditions will be provided by increasing common working possibilities by accessing to information about many different simultaneous projects by project teams from single center. Thus, all works done on that project by any users will be seen in scope of document flow by other workers of project within their authorities.

Archiving of E-mails Automatically

All e-mails in Holding structure will automatically be archived by EMC Documentum Enterprise Content Management Source One product. Security and easy management of all e-mails will be available after importing into information pool by defined archive access rules. E-mails will be saved as one copy in EMC Clarion AX4 storage unit by SourceOne. Thus, extra load over users computers will be eliminated and IT department workload on backup and security issues will be reduced.
